Jeffrey H. Patchen, President & CEO, The Children's Museum of Indianapolis
Mr. Patchen joined the Children's Museum in 1999, coming from the Getty Education Institute for the Arts, J. Paul Getty Trust in Los Angeles as Senior Program Officer. His responsibilities at the museum include but are certainly not limited to, the organizational vision and long range strategic plan to strengthen the Museum in partnership with the Board of Trustees, the Staff and the Museum's major constituencies, insuring the quality of exhibits and programs, directing and participating in development activities to underwrite new exhibits and programs.
Mr. Patchen's work experience includes Associate Instructor in Music Education at IU, Graduate Assistant in the Department of Bands at IU, Supervising Teacher at Ithaca College in New York, just to name few.
He earned his D.M.E. in Music Education from Indiana University, his M.M. and B.M. in Music Education from Ithaca College in New York.
