$100,000 was invested in 10 organizations in December 2008.

  • Boone County Economic Development Corp. - $9,000
    • A ten year analysis of potential industry clusters focusing on business and young adult attraction and retention efforts.
  • City of Crawfordsville - $10,000
    • The implementation of a marketing plan for Crawfordsville Commerce Park to leverage new jobs and new investment.
  • Hamilton County Alliance - $3,000
    • Create two web-based brochures that will highlight the US31 and I-69 corridors.
  • Hendricks College NetworK - $5,000
    • The goal is to assist area businesses by providing local access to and support for a variety of education and training benefits.
  • Indianapolis Downtown, Inc. $6,000
    • Develop and showcase residential opportunities to live in Indianapolis’ six cultural districts, including Downtown.
  • Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership - $10,000
    • The Home Buyer Education Program is designed to help families prepare for home ownership and to successfully navigate the home buying process.
  • Keep Indianapolis Beautiful - $7,000
    • NeighborWoods is a community-wide effort to plant 100,000 trees in 10 years, improving neighborhoods and enhancing our local environment.
  • King Park Area Development Corporation - $5,000
    • Destination: King Park is a commercial and residential development effort designed to increase awareness and enhance commercial and residential opportunities in the King Park area.
  • Lebanon Vitalization Inc. - $5,000
    • Creating a permanent site for a Farmers Market Park in downtown Lebanon.
  • Great Indy Neighborhoods Initiative- $15,000
    • A city-wide effort to support community revitalization in six moderate and low-income Indianapolis neighborhoods.
  • Near North Development Corporation - $10,000
    • Planning for the creation of a “village gateway” and an extension of the Fall Creek Trail at Meridian Street and Fall Creek.
  • Shelby County Development Corporation - $5,000
    • Website updates to facilitate to Honda-related web activity.
  • Town of Cicero - $10,000
    • Planning project to maximize the tourism assets in Cicero and the potential for Morse Lake waterfront usage and commercial development in the Town.
